Sitting on the second floor of the building that also houses The Stables sports pub, near Irish institution Fibber Magee’s, Rodeo Drive bucks (quite literally) the trend for swank in favour of cowboy swagger. Barely more than a few weeks old on Dubai’s nightlife scene, this American gastropub and bar is already gaining fans for its emphasis on fun and entertainment – specifically of the raucous frat-party variety.

Sitting centre stage, slap bang in the middle of the room, is a bucking bronco (free to every punter, all you need to do is sign a waiver), while there are entirely separate levels of the room dedicated to every college kid’s favourite sport – think ping-pong balls and plastic cups of hops. Such a part of this bar’s offering is the game that there’s even an open tournament.
