Tucked away in Wafi Mall, Elements Café is something of a hidden gem. The high-ceilinged indoor space has a warehouse feel and is home to various strange sculptures, such as sheep, as well as a mixture of dining and lounge furniture. Outside you’ll find a large terrace overlooking the underground-but-open-air Khan Murjan restaurant and the second Wafi Gourmet (did you know there were two)? The menu is eclectic, and, like other local ‘international eateries’, includes a long list of sushi, pasta, and Arabic dishes. However, the main reason patrons seem to stop by this Wafi café (a mall now particularly popular with Emiratis) is for a casual al-fresco shisha, and to chat long into the evening.
